Head into Hāwera on Friday, July 8th, and enjoy our annual Winter Festival.Bizlink Hāwera is putting together loads of entertainment free for the whole family.
You can roast marshmallows over the lit Braziers, listen to Unity Wara playing in the town square while either enjoying a free sausage courtesy of the lions or purchase your dinner from Baked By Blanche and co which will be served from a slow-roasted pig on the spit in the town square.
There will be food trucks, stallholders, and free activities throughout the high street including other musicians like Wilbur Raikes, Mitch Careswell, and Jonte Van Endhoven.Don’t miss the fire displays and our visiting drag queens Chai and Fanta. The Aog Church will be open offering you bathroom facilities and a free tea or coffee out of the cold.Late-night shopping and loads of specials from our open retailers.
