Become a Member
Bizlink Hāwera is funded by a targeted rate through the South Taranaki District Council on all commercial property within the Hāwera ward. From this fund, Bizlink currently employs two co-ordinators for a total of 50 hours per week to the manage daily operations and leases an office in Union Street.
A business that is leasing/renting a commercial property, the business owner along with the property owner are automatically members of Bizlink Hāwera.
A business that doesn’t operate from a commercial property or, are outside the Hāwera ward, can become a member of Bizlink Hāwera. Individuals who do not own a business can also join for a fee.
(Annual membership fee July 1-June 30)
There are three types of membership fees:
- Targeted Rate (Business/Property owner contributing to targeted rate)
- Non Targeted Rate (Business member not contributing to targeted rate) $120.00
- Individual Rate (Non Business member) $20.00
